Beth has been a history teacher for the past 25 years. In this time, she has constantly refined her craft to create a true student-centered classroom. She has created inquiries that are driven by questions with no clear answers that automatically engage student interest. Classes are centered on pursuing possible answers to open-ended inquiries and then, acting and thinking as true historians, students formulate, reason, and craft their own deep understandings.  She has created inquiries in Introductory Historiography, Latin American Studies, European Studies, World History, Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Behavior and Black US History courses.
